Microsoft, Sony ed Electronic Arts avranno il loro spazio esclusivo con delle conferenze che precederanno di un giorno l'apertura della manifestazione. La compagnia giapponese dovrebbe dedicare buona parte dell'evento a PlayStation 4, anche se probabilmente non mancherà uno spazio dedicato a PlayStation Vita in odore di ribasso di prezzo, mentre EA focalizzerà come sempre le attenzioni sui suoi brand di maggior successo, come per esempio Battlefield 4 e FIFA 14 ma in molti si aspettano delle novità, e magari del gameplay, di Dragon Age: Inquisition e The Sims 4. Allo stesso modo Microsoft terrà uno showcase con la presenza del vice-presidente Phil Spencer e del presidente di Microsoft Studios Europe Phil Harrison. Tema dell'incontro ovviamente Xbox One, i giochi indie, più varie ed eventuali. Blizzard Entertainment aspetterà invece il giorno d'inizio della fiera per la sua conferenza, mentre Nintendo e Ubisoft non terranno nessuno show dedicato sul palco del Koelnmesse. I loro titoli saranno comunque visibili presso i rispettivi stand.

Quali saranno i giochi presenti in Fiera?
Chiusa l'ampia parentesi dedicata alle informazioni relative alla manifestazione e agli eventi, è il momento di lasciare finalmente spazio alla lista di tutti i giochi che saranno, o dovrebbero essere presenti alla GamesCom. È doveroso in questo senso sottolineare che i publisher non hanno ancora svelato gli elenchi completi di quanto mostreranno alla fiera. Pertanto parte della lista sottostante scaturisce un po' da indiscrezioni derivanti dal nostro calendario di appuntamenti, un po' da voci di corridoio e infine dalle conferme ufficiali di quei prodotti che le compagnie hanno già rivelato. L'elenco è quindi da considerarsi provvisorio: sarà però aggiornato in tempo reale man mano che riceveremo nuove informazioni in proposito.
